HONOLULU - CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating Alan John Arruda.

He was last seen leaving his Waipahu residence on May 13 at approximately 10 p.m.

Arruda suffers from emotional distress and his family is concerned for his welfare.

Arruda is a 63-year-old Portuguese man who stands at 6-feet-tall, 205 pounds, with black and white hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 808-955-8300 or *CRIME on your cellular phone.

Honolulu police need your help in finding a Waipahu man who hasn't been seen or heard from in more than a week.

His name is Alan John Arruda.

He was last seen leaving his Waipahu home on Mother's Day night.

Police say Arruda took his wallet but left his cell phone behind.

“He suffers from emotional distress and his family is very concerned.  He does care for his elderly father who is 89 years old.  He is the primary caretaker. And again he walked out and has not been seen, and leaving his father which is very unlike him,” said Sgt. Kim Buffett.

Alan John Arruda is 63-years-old, 6’0” and 205 pounds.

WAIPAHU (HawaiiNewsNow)- HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Waipahu man.

Police say Alan John Arruda was last seen on May 13, around 10 p.m., at his residence in Waipahu.

According to police the 63-year-old suffers from emotional distress and his family is concerned for his welfare.

Arruda is 6'o" and weighs 205 pounds. He has salt/pepper hair and brown eyes.

WAIPAHU, Hawaii -
Honolulu police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Waipahu Thursday.
 
Investigators say there was no signs of foul play.
 
Police believe the body was a 63-year-old man.  But, police do not think it was the body of a Waipio man missing since Mother's Day night.
 
An autopsy will be performed to find the cause of death.
