A three-month-old disappearance mystery in Aitkin County has police asking for help Friday.

The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office said 67-year-old Leroy Boyd was last seen in early June.

Deputies are asking people who own property in the area to check their land for any signs of suspicious activity.

Anyone who has had contact with him in the past few months is asked to contact authorities at (888) 900-2138.

Aitkin County officials are asking for the public's help in finding a 67-year-old man who has not been seen in more than three months, the Aitkin County sheriff's office said today.

Leroy Keith Boyd, who lives south of Aitkin, has not been since the beginning of June, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff is asking people who lease or own property in the area to look for any signs of suspicious activity.

Anyone who has had contact with Boyd in the past few months is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 1-888-900-2138 or 1-218-927-7435.

Authorities say they now suspect foul play in the case of a missing Aitkin county man.

Leroy Keith Boyd of Aitkin hasn't been seen since June...authorities have located a 2005 Dodge pick-up truck and trailer that belonged to Boyd at an out of state dealership. They say the truck hasn't been driven by Boyd since October of 2007.

The Aitkin County Sheriff's department says they have identified persons of interest in the case. They are asking for the public's assistance with their investigation.....anyone with knowledge of Boyd's whereabouts or associations, or anyone who may have had a conversation with him prior to his disappearance...is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 1-888-900-2138 or 1-218-927-7435.

The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

Leroy Boyd, 67, was last seen in the beginning of June but was not reported missing until August.   

His Dodge pick-up and trailer were located yesterday at a car dealership out of State.  Investigators have learned that Boyd has not driven this vehicle since October of last year.

At this time investigators believe that foul play is involved in the case and are questioning a few people.

Anyone with information on the disappearance of Leroy Boyd or who has had contact with him in the past few months is asked to contact the Aitkin County sheriff's office at (888)900-2138.

Residents in the Aitkin area are also asked to search their properties for any signs of suspicious activity.

The Aitkin County Sheriff says he suspects foul play in the disappearance of a local resident.  Leroy Boyd, 67, has been missing since the beginning of June.  The Sheriff's office is not releasing many details, but does say they suspect foul play.  A press release says "persons of interest" have been identified in the case.
