A story written by Bridgette's mother for the 18 Wheel Angels Campaign:
About Bridgette
Bridgette Bilotta, my first born, came into the world on August 22,1992. She weighed an even 6 lbs, and had brown hair and was just beautiful. I, like every mother, counted fingers and toes wanted to make sure all 10 were there. It wouldn't have even mattered as I would've loved her either way. She had a smile that could light up any room and she was so sweet. Everyone who came into contact with her fell in love with her.
She was a Daddy's girl big time. Her father, Michael, gave her any and everything she wanted. She was his princess. As she got older that came in handy too. She was a big sister too, and she loved her other siblings. She would often read and play with them. They called her "Badoo" cause her name was hard to say. This nickname stuck through out the years.
Brigette was in band in Junior High and played the clarinet. I can't say in the beginning that she was great at playing. Oh my!! Thank goodness for ear plugs. She got better and eventually made first chair. She loved school and made good grades.
She wanted to be a Vet as she loved animals. She would often come home with stray dogs, trying to keep them as we already had 2. I would say "No honey, we can't", and she'd beg until I would give in. Eventually, she would find them a home but not before she asked the person 20 questions to make sure they wouldn't hurt the animal.
She also loves sports and wanted to play basketball, but she was too short. She's 16 but looks like she's 12 as she's very petite. So, she helped on the side lines, and that to her that was good enough. She loves to cook or at least try to and she gets that from me.
I miss my baby girl so much and just want her found safe and soon. To anyone who can help, I will be forever grateful. Thanks for taking the time to read my story and for any posters you place.
