Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The night before Mark Hudson was supposed to leave for a cruise, he vanished. That was more than ten days ago. Henderson Police are now investigating the 28-year-old's disappearance.
Police say there's no evidence of foul play, but loved ones are convinced something must be wrong.
Hudson hasn't been seen, or heard from, since leaving Lucky Joe's Saloon on Friday June 8. Friends say he was a regular at the Henderson bar, located on Mountain Vista Street, near Sunset Way.
"He had stopped at our house that evening, before he walked over to the bar," Tiffanie Negrete says. "He was in good spirits, and excited to leave for his cruise, the next day. But, we got a call from his brother saying he never showed up for the cruise. He wanted to know if he crashed at our house."
"For him not to maintain contact with is family and friends is really strange," Jose Negrete adds. "His phone is off. We can't reach him."
Jose and Tiffanie Negrete have organized searches for Hudson.
People who were inside Lucky Joe's Saloon the night of June 8th, say Hudson asked where the back door was, and left suddenly. Family and friends say that sounds out of character.
"Anybody at Lucky Joe's will tell you, that he never goes out the back way," Tiffanie says. "Nobody does. It's an alley back there. So for him to go out that back way and not be seen again, it just doesn't make sense."
Fueling their confusion and concern, is the fact that Mark didn't show up for work on Tuesday, June 18. It was supposed to be his first day back on the job, after the cruise.
"He was a no call, no show," Jose says. "He's never done that before. His boss is worried about him. We all are. He wouldn't leave his family and friends without saying anything. He wouldn't leave his dog. Everyone is just wanting him to come home safe."
While there is some surveillance video from inside Lucky Joe's Saloon that shows Hudson getting up and leaving, there are no security cameras outside the back entrance.
Hudson is described as 5-feet 10-inches tall, 150 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. He has a tattoo of the letter "M" on his left rib and a tattoo on his right arm of the letter "D."
Investigators have indicated there's no proof Hudson ever actually booked, or paid for, the alleged cruise he was supposed to go on.
