Officials say Daquan Williams is still missing.

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday morning that a man wanted for attempted murder has turned himself into authorities.

Colleton County Sheriff George A. Malone said that Emmanuel "Manny" Buckner, 26, turned himself in through his attorney at the Colleton County Detention Center. Buckner is charged with the attempted murder of Chris Chapman earlier this month near the intersection of Koth and Baker Streets.

Investigators say that Buckner may have also been involved in the shooting of another individual involved in the incident, Daquan Tarrel Williams, who has been missing since the January 8, 2011 shooting.

According to witness reports, Williams was last seen with a gunshot wound near the crime scene. He is described as being 6-feet tall, 175 pounds. He is from the area of Greenpond Highway in Walterboro.

The investigation is ongoing in this case, if you have any information that could help contact authorities you are urged to contact the Colleton County Sheriffs Office at (843) 549-2211. You can also contact CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
