Family Holds Out Hope Father Of 3 Is Still Alive - Local News

Family Holds Out Hope Father Of 3 Is Still Alive
Man Has Several Tattoos, Piercings, Scars That Will Help Identify Him

January 19, 2006

HOUSTON -- Relatives of a man who has been missing since the summer fear he might have been murdered and are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Kenny Dwayne Ebarb never returned to his Spring home near the 21000 block of Countryside Drive near F.M. 1960 after leaving it early in the morning on July 15 to collect money from someone he knew.

The 28-year-old man's pickup truck was found burned out the next day on Huffman Road in Huffman.

The husband and father of three kids was last seen wearing a T-shirt, jean shorts with pockets and brown leather sandals. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Relatives said Ebarb has several tattoos that could help identify him. They are:

"Kathryn" written in Old English in the middle of his back
"Heather" and "Brooke" on the side of his right calf
An image of the sun on the right side of his chest
A cross on the left leg above his knee
"K.E." on left fingers
"Ebarb" on the back of his neck

Ebarb also has a burn scar on his right cheek, a scar on top of his head near his scalp, two piercings in his left ear and one piercing in his right ear. He is missing a lower back tooth and has previously fractured his wrist.

Authorities said they do not have any leads in Ebarb's disappearance or any evidence that Ebarb was killed.

The family has set up a fund in support of the Ebarb family at Washington Mutual Banks. Donations can be made to The Ebarb Family Fund at any bank location.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and the filing of charges in this case.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
