CINCINNATI –  A body found in the Ohio River on April 8 has been identified as a missing Price Hill man.

Glenn Patrick Lett, 38, was identified through dental records, Hamilton County Coroner Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco said Wednesday.

The cause of death is still under investigation, Sammarco said.

Lett's family reported him missing Dec. 4. Lett, a type 2 diabetic, was last seen at his doctor's office about 1 p.m. Dec. 1.

At the time, police called the disappearance "unusual."

After his doctor's appointment, Lett was expected to go to work at the main Post Office on Dalton Avenue, but he didn’t show up, according to his mother, Shirley Lett.

Lett called in sick Dec. 1 and 2  and didn’t show up the rest of the week, she said.

Multiple people attempted to reach him via cellphone, she said, but it went straight to voicemail.

"My gut is telling me something is very wrong. I don't know what it is, but it's not his normal behavior," Lett's mother  said at the time.

She said she wasn't sure if Lett had taken his medication with him.

Four months later, authorities pulled Lett's body from the water near the Riverview Landing Marina in the 3600 block of River Road in Sedamsville.
