Circumstances of Disappearance: Peter was last seen at Ernie's Food Market in Staples, MN wherein he spoke to employees and behaved as he normally would. He was seen getting in hls grey station wagon in the parking lot. His vehicle was found the next day about 10 miles from his rural Leader home, stuck in a mud puddle on a minimum maintenance road. Groceries and prescription medications that Achermann had picked up the day before were still inside the vehicle. The vehicle keys are missing. Extensive searches have been performed in the area.
Medical Conditions: None. Peter does not have dementia or Alzheimers.
