PUEBLO COUNTY, COLO. -- The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is now asking for the public’s help in possibly finding a man who has been missing for more than six months.

He is 26-year-old Thomas R. Cook.

The Sheriff’s Office said he left his father’s house after an argument back on Aug. 17, 2013. He told his family he intended to go to Kansas where he had lived before moving to Pueblo West.

Cook, according to authorities, left without any of his personal belongings or even his wallet.

Investigators had hoped he would reach out to his family on his own, but no one has heard from him since August.

There has been no sign of Cook in Kansas, the Sheriff’s Office said of its investigation with authorities there.

“We want assistance, someone to point us in the right direction while we will continue to do everything we can to find him” said Sheriff’s Office Investigations Sergeant Shelley Bryant. “His parents and friends are in need of answers and we want to provide those answers.”

Cook is bi-racial and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’8” and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

If anyone saw Cook after Aug. 17, or if they have any information on his whereabouts, it can be reported to Detective Williams at (719) 583-4856 or to Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Communications at (719) 583-6250.

I help his mom & sister on  Help find Thomas Cook FB Page. Thomas & his dad had an argument, he walked away to cool off; only taking a cell phone with him; no wallet or anything else. At some point LE thought that maybe he would show up at his moms house in Kansas; the only way to do that would have been to hitch hike. He dropped off the face of the earth; vanished into thin air.
