Fond Du Lac Tribal Police Seek Help Finding Missing Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in northern Minnesota are asking for help finding a missing 22-year-old man who was last heard from late last month.
Michial David Annamitta Jr. was last heard from on Nov. 23, 2013, the Fond du Lac Tribal Police Department says. He had been staying in Sawyer, Minn., about 30 miles southwest of Duluth.
Officials say it’s unusual for him not to make contact with his family, and there’s concern for his welfare as he has a history of mental health and alcohol abuse problems.
Annamitta is described as standing 5-feet, 9-inhces tall, weighing 150 pounds, having black hair and brown eyes, and wearing glasses.

Authorities Searching For Missing 22-Year-Old Sawyer Man

SAWYER — The Fond du Lac Tribal Police Department is searching for a missing 22-year-old man.
Authorities say Michial David Annamitta Jr. was last seen on November 23rd at the Sawyer Store near Duluth.
Police say they are concerned for his welfare because it’s unusual for him to not make contact with his family.
Annamitta had been staying at a home Sawyer and made mention of him going to the Minneapolis area. Authorities say he has a history of mental health problems and is known to abuse alcohol.
Annamitta is described as a Native American male about five feet and nine inches tall. He’s believed to weigh about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes with glasses.
If you have any information on his whereabouts you’re asked to contact the Fond du Lac Tribal Police Department at 218-591-2316.
