Police hope for tips in search for man missing since October 2008

The Memphis Police Department hopes to get the public's helping in finding a 20-year-old man who has been missing since October 2008.

Kenneth Dewayne Williams was last seen Oct. 26 at a motel in the 3700 block of Jackson.

Williams, who lives in the Jackson and National area of northeast Memphis, doesn't own a car.

He is 5-7 and 145 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black Jordan shoes.

Investigators fear he may have been the victim of a serious crime.

Anyone with information on his disappearance is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH (2274).

Memphis Police Department Missing Persons Bureau investigators are seeking information from citizens with knowledge of the disappearance of Kenneth Dewayne Williams, 20, who resides in the Jackson and National area in northeast Memphis. Williams has been missing since October 26, 2008. Williams was reported missing by his mother and was last seen at a motel in the 3700 block of Jackson. He does not own a vehicle and has not made contact with his family since he went missing. Williams is 5’7” tall, weighs 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black Jordan shoes. Investigators fear Williams may have become the victim of a serious crime and desperately need witnesses to come forward and bring closure to this mystery.

Anyone having any information on Kenneth Dewayne Williams’ disappearance is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH (2274). You will be given a secret ID number. The information and your identification are totally anonymous.
