Identifying Characteristics: Tattoo of "MANIAC" on his lower right arm. He had a Mohawk style at the time of his disappearance. Both ears are pierced and he has a piercing below his bottom lip.  

Clothing: Cotton pants and t-shirt, tennis shoes

Jewelry: Cross necklace and wide band gold ring

Circumstances of Disappearance: Shannon was last heard from when he called to get a ride to his grandmother's home from an acquaintance’s home. He called and said he had a ride and then never showed up. All of his personal belongings,including his car,were at left at his grandmother's house.

On October 3, 2009, Walter Shannon Stevenson was reported missing from the 3700 block of Epworth in northeast Memphis by a family member after he failed to return home or make contact by phone.

“Shannon” Stevenson, as he is commonly known, was last seen on October 1, 2009 at an acquaintance’s home in the 2700 block of Misty Valley, in the Highway 64 and Houston Levee area.

Anyone who knows where Walter Shannon Stevenson is currently located is asked to call the Memphis Police Department at 901-545-COPS (2677).
