Complexion: Fair with some freckles

Identifying Characteristics: Due to his illness, Jim has battery packs implanted under the skin of each collarbone. These are visible and are the size of a package of cigarettes.He has a beard and his eyebrows are bushy.

Clothing: Jim wears jeans, t-shirts and hiking shoes. He usually wears a baseball cap.
 
Circumstances of Disappearance: He was last seen in Cambridge Massachusetts on Sunday, October 21. He was staying with a friend, but left stating he was going camping. The family received a letter from Jim stating that he was dropping out of society to live in the wilderness. He took a survival backpack. It is believed that he is headed to a remote, temperate area such as the Appalachian Mountains. He may travel on foot, bike, train, or via public transportation.

Medical Conditions: Jim has extreme social anxiety. He has deep brain implants to help control his disease. If seen, it is advisable not to approach him but to call authorities as soon as possible. Jim is off his medication and may be unstable and unable to make proper judgements about himself and others.

Boston man missing for over a week, police say
May have traveled to remote location out-of-state

BOSTON —Boston police have released a photo of a man missing for more than a week.

Police say James Gollahon was reported missing on Oct. 23 and may pose a risk to himself or others.

Relatives say Gollahon may have traveled via public transportation or bicycle to a remote location, possibly the Appalachian Mountains.

He is not believed to be armed.

Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Boston police.

James has been found deceased. His remains were identified by DNA analysis. Cause of death is undetermined.

 

His father would like to thank everyone who shared his information or placed posters.

 

Our condolences to all who love and miss Jim.
