LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- On June 25th, the family of 31-year-old Lisa Green says she stepped outside at her father's home on Gilmore Lane. She never came back inside, and since that time they say they’ve heard nothing.
"There haven't been no phone calls. No one has seen her at all," said Paula Watkins, Lisa Green’s sister.
On Wednesday, 13 miles from the location where Green was last seen, police searched a home on Reality Trail in the area of Heritage Creek.
A message was posted Wednesday night on behalf of the Heritage Creek Mayor on the city's Facebook page, saying "There is to be no vehicle congestion in the area. There has been a missing person and the area needs to stay clear. There is nothing to worry about. The police officers are taking care of the situation."
They were searching for any clues leading to Green.
Neighbors say this isn't the first time police have been to this home. They say they've been there plenty of times before.
"There's been so much going on at that home for so many years. There's been a lot of activity. A lot of police activity over there. They were always in trouble," one neighbor said. The neighbor didn’t want to be identified for this story.
Police say tips in the case led them to the location.
"Through the investigation, from speaking with friends, that was a place that she visited frequently," said Lt. Todd Kessinger with LMPD.
They say so far they are handling this like any other missing persons case.
"There's a lot of possibilities to where Lisa may or may not be, and that's what our job is, going through and eliminating and we need to find her," said Lt. Todd Kessinger.
While the investigation continues, Green's family is holding out hope that she's okay.
"All you can do is wait and pray. Hope someone comes with something. Hope you get a phone call. Hope you see her," said Leah Green, the sister of Lisa Green.
"She's a loving person. She's wonderful. She's been missing for about a month. And we want her home," said Paula Watkins.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the case, which they say is typical for a missing person case.
Green's family plans to soon post flyers, to get the word out.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville family is still waiting for answers a year after their loved one disappeared.
They held a vigil tonight for Lisa Green outside her father's home on Gilmore Lane. That's the last place she was seen before she disappeared on June 25th, 2014.
Green, who was 31 at the time, left the home and never came back.
Police later searched an area 13 miles away that she frequently visited but did not find her.
One man who attended the vigil says he won't rest until he knows what happened to Green.
"She's my best friend. She knew everything I was thinking and I knew what she was thinking. I ain't gonna stop until I find out who did it," he said.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the case, which it says is normal for missing people.
If you have any idea where Lisa Green might be, you can leave an anonymous tip at 502-574-LMPD.
