KSDK-Thursday is the 27th birthday of Amanda Jones.
The Pevely woman, who was nine months pregnant when she disappeared, has been missing for nearly two months.
The birthday has always a day for celebration for her family, including her Uncle Walt Bowers.
Bowers says, "We take it pretty hard. No new leads yet, it's kinda tough, too. Just keep hoping she'll be home someday."
Jones was last seen August 14th at the Hillsboro Civic Center.
Nine months pregnant, she was there to meet who her family says was the father of her baby, Brian Westfall.
Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer says, "Unfortunately, at this point and time we can't even confirm there's been a crime. So to say we have suspects or *a* suspect, we couldn't do that."
Sheriff Boyer says they are still waiting for forensic results.
They've received more than 200 tips, but so far nothing solid.
"We're in the process of going back through those leads, in fact some of them for the third and fourth time to see if we can develop any further information off those."
Bowers reads an old card from his niece, "To my adorable, loving uncle. Have a great 57th birthday, from your loving niece."
Meantime, Bowers cherishes the memories and birthdays he and Jones always shared together.
"Every year, whether it was mine or her birthday, we'd always go out to eat," he says.
Bowers has collected a huge binder of other memories, and others of her disappearance and efforts to find her.
Bowers will celebrate her life with a birthday banner and purple balloons, his niece's favorite color.
"We want to keep our prayers up that she's still alive, and the baby too," he says.
A $100,000 reward is being offered for information that solves the case.

Today is missing Pevely woman's 27th birthday

Amanda Jones should be celebrating her 27th birthday today, but no one knows where to find her.
Jones, who lived in Pevely, was nine months pregnant when she went missing more than seven weeks ago. She is the divorced mother of a 4-year-old daughter and is a loan administrator at Eagle Bank in Festus.
On Aug. 14, police found her unlocked car on the horse show grounds of the Hillsboro Civic Center on Highway 21 in central Jefferson County. Police suspect foul play, but they haven't found any evidence of a crime.
A $100,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Jones had gone to Hillsboro to meet with Bryan Lee Westfall, the man her family says was the father of her baby. Although police have described Westfall as a "person of interest," they say they have neither identified nor eliminated anyone as a suspect.
Westfall, 36, a farmer and former instructor at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, has denied that he is the baby's father.
His attorney, Kevin Roberts, said his client last saw Jones as he was leaving the Civic Center on Aug. 14. She was in her car, he said, and appeared to be talking on her cell phone.
Police have searched Westfall's farm home and an adjacent farm belonging to his parents and have taken several items for testing, but police don't know the results of those tests yet.
Roberts, Westfall's attorney, said his client was eager to have the case resolved to remove the cloud of suspicion that has hung over him since Jones disappeared.
For Jones' parents, Hubert and Bertha Propst of Festus, the waiting has become almost as painful as their daughter's disappearance.
Bertha Propst says today will be particularly hard.
"I don't know how I'm going to handle it," Bertha Propst said. "I just can't imagine having her birthday without her."
Still, the Propsts continue to hold out hope, praying that their daughter is still out there somewhere, trying to come home.
"I have to believe that," Hubert Propst said. "I know it's been a while, but sometimes I still believe in miracles. I can't give up hope."
Family and friends have raised roughly $12,000 through a benefit dance and silent auction to make the payments on Jones' mobile home, car and credit card bills while the search for her continues. Hubert Propst says part of the money also is being used to pay for the nearly 7,000 fliers that have been distributed seeking information in the case.
Jones' daughter is living with her biological father in St. Louis.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 636-797-5515.
